Pictures From History / Cognoscenti Books 
Cognoscenti Books is an imprint of CPA Media Co Ltd., and the text publication branch for Pictures From History / Pictures From Asia. We are based in the historic and lovely walled city of Chiang Mai set amid the mountains and valleys of northern Thailand. Cognoscenti Books are designed for the enquiring reader with an interest in the history, culture, society and peoples of Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
On a more personal note, I – Andrew Forbes – am responsible for writing this blog. I’m the editor at CPA Media, I live in Chiang Mai with my wife Puangphet, and you can contact me at: andrew@cpamedia.com
My close friend and colleague David Henley also lives in Chiang Mai with his wife Daa and his son Daniel, the latter now working with us at CPA Media. His daughter Nat has “flown the nest” and divides her time between New Zealand and Koh Lanta in southern Thailand. David is responsible for photography and images.
